DRI Electrical (formerly Diversified Resources Incorporated) began in 1999 serving residential customers as well as providing electrical installations and upgrades for small commercial projects around Easley, South Carolina.
Over the years, DRI has steadily grown in size and scope of work. What started as a small, two-man enterprise has evolved into a full-scale electrical industrial and commercial contracting firm with 30 employees, a fleet of 14 vehicles, and the capacity to deliver design/build projects up to $3 million in size. To accommodate such growth, DRI moved into a 16,000 square foot office and warehouse facility with large-capacity storage in June 2020.
DRI’s success traces back to co-founder and President Greg Tillotson’s hard-wired mindset to be known for performing work that exceeds customer expectations. According to Greg, “What we do isn’t a trade. It’s a profession.” From the start, his mission at DRI has been to set the gold standard in service, safety and professionalism within the electrical contracting industry.
As such, DRI Electrical is known industry-wide for hiring quality people who do quality work. Employees are vetted through a thorough interview process and background check to assure that everyone hired has the skill level and character qualities that match DRI’s high expectations. By setting an example for the way electrical contracting work should be done, DRI has developed long-standing relationships and is the go-to electrical contractor for a diverse client group. Repeat projects with Furman University, Triangle Construction, Bob Jones University and Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital have led to referral work for new clients such as Fall’s Park Downtown, Clemson Eye, Deep South Defense, Anderson University, Grace Church, Wade Hampton Fire Department and many more.
